Salatis and the Dark King, Member salatis

With the book being self published it has its flaws, but the story is fantastic and salatis is everything you would ask for as a hero of a fantasy adventure. The book has several new ideas and is well worth a read. Born in Saxeus a small village near the centre of Lazamer; Salatis dreamt of battles in far off lands, fighting side by side with Lagos; Lazamers greatest warrior. The moment he came of age he left for the Legions and could not believe his luck, being posted to Lagos' side. Luck however had little to do with it. Lagos had specifically asked for him to be assigned to his Legion. It was the least he could do for his closest friend, Hedric; Salatis’ father. They had served together in the barbarian wars before Salatis was born. A fact Hedric had chosen to keep from Salatis; giving him the chance to become his own man. Hedric however had an even bigger secret, he had kept from his son and all was about to become clear with the imminent war against the Zephantian King
