The Favorites button will take you to your StumbleUpon account and show which websites you have give a thumbs up.
The Friends button will take you to your friends list and even suggest friends.
The Tools button allows you to modify your preferences, update topics that interest you, report a site as spam, sign in to your account, change your password, and chance your toolbar, or invite friends.
