Shout on Digg

A shout on Digg alerts friends to your article.

The social news site Digg is a great way to increase traffic to your websites or online articles, but you will need to build up a network of friends to get the most use out of Digg. Once you have friends on Digg, you can shout on Digg to draw their attention to articles you submit.

Sending a shout on digg will alert your friends to your article as soon as they log in to the social news site. They'll also be given the opportunity to easily review and Digg your article.

Here's how to shout on Digg:

Time Required: 5 minutes
Here's How:
  1. Go to Digg and submit your article

  2. After the article is submitted, click on the Share button that is just underneath your article's description in Digg.

  3. The share button allows you to shout on Digg. Click on any friends you want to share the article with to highlight their name. You can also click on the Shout to All link on the right side of this window to share the article with all of your friends.

  4. Type in any message you want to send along with the article in the Add a Message field.

  5. Type in the CAPTCHA letters.

  6. Click on the Shout It! button.

Tips:
  1. The more friends you have, the more effective sending a shout on Digg will be, so go make some friends!
