On the main page, locate where it invites you to get your own social network and type in the name of your social network and a web address.
The name of your social network can be anything you want. The web address should not contain any spaces. It will be combined with "ning.com" to create a direct route to your social network. So, if you type in "MySocialNetwork," the full address will be "MySocialNetwork.ning.com".
Once you have chosen a name and address, complete the process by clicking on the Create my Network button. This will take you to a walk-through of setting up your social network's profile.
