Pinterest is experiencing some first world problems. It's iconic look and intuitive UI has become the envy of so many sites and social networks. As a result, many have tried to recreate the same look. Some of them look okay. Others, not so much.
But Pinterest isn't throwing away its fabulous grid-style design in spite of all the copycats. Instead, it's just making some worthwhile improvements to the navigation and providing optimization for image-based content, along with some much-needed tweaks to related pins. You can read more about the updated design here on the Pinterest blog.

Just a few lucky users will get to test it out, but you can sign-up if you want early access to the new look. Pinterest power users should be happy to hear about the update. A faster, cleaner, easier-to-use interface may be just what it needs to perhaps help boost traffic and pinning activity.
