Here's How to Track Santa's Journey Online This Christmas Eve

Remember when you used to turn on the radio or local news on Christmas Eve so you could find out how close Santa was to your house? It was pretty exciting, wasn't it?

The NORAD Ops Center has built an entire website and series of mobile apps dedicated to letting you track Santa's journey around the world all on your own. The site and apps use location technology from Cesium and Bing Maps to give you a 3D look into what's Santa up to, where he's been and where he's stopping next.

You can track Santa's entire journey today/tonight by visiting NORADSanta.org or by downloading any of the mobile apps for iPhone, Android or Windows Phone. You can also watch for updates on Twitter by following @NORADSanta.

On behalf of all the Guides and Topic Writers here at About.com, I'd like to say Merry Christmas to all of our readers who are celebrating, and I'm wishing you all a very happy holiday season full of great family, friends, food and fun!
