Redditors Generously Offer Christmas Donations to Father of Four

The people of Reddit are amazing. On the /r/offmychest subreddit, Reddit user ProZacDose posted a rant about how he wouldn't be able to give his four kids the Christmas that they truly deserve this year because of a number of setbacks his family has had to deal with.

People are encouraged to vent their frustrations on this subreddit about whatever's plaguing their minds, and ProZacDose's thread managed to attract more than 5,200 upvotes from users who came across it. Many offered to help the guy out, and as a result, an Indiegogo account was set up so that Redditors could offer donations.

The Indiegogo account has since been closed, but it was reported that more than $8,000 had been donated. If you'd like to read the full story and see some of the things that users were offering to do, I reccommed checking out this article published by The Daily Dot.
