Video content creators are getting some pretty sweet opportunities these days. YouTube invests thousands of dollars in its biggest channels, Vimeo recently integrated a "tip jar" feature for its users and now video startup Chill.com has launched Chill Direct -- a new way for content creators to directly sell their videos to fans.
Content creators will be able to price their videos anywhere between $1.99 and $49.99, and Chill will take 30 percent of it to cover hosting fees, costs for payment platforms and so on. Anyone who uses to Chill Direct will be able to set up a dedicated page to help sell their content, with options to add lots of their own extra features like cover art, descriptions, video trailers and more.
