Great news for big YouTube content creators. The video-sharing giant just announced that it will provide additional funding for 30 to 40 percent of its original content partners.
The announcement comes after YouTube spread a generous $100 million across the site to help create over 100 new channels. The lucky partners eligible for this next round of funding will receive notification over the next few weeks.
According to Adage, the top 25 new channels generate average of over a million views every week, and the top 33 have been able to attract more than 100,000 subscribers. A good surge in subscription count means that people are interested interested in coming back for repeat viewing.
