What if you could gather up all the best bits of the web and roll them into one product? That's what Google is trying to do with Google Wave. A new personal and collaborative messaging platform, Google Wave is rolling out to 100,000 new beta testers tommorrow.
While it is sometimes mislabeled as a social networking tool, Google Wave is more like a mashup of email, wikis and Twitter. The ability to embed objects like YouTube videos and create robots to automate tasks like spellchecking, debugging or bringing in stock quotes makes it an interesting proposition for enterprise collaboration as well as personal communication.
