Too Much Twitter Spam?

Monday April 14, 2008

Like many people, I like to advertise blog posts on Twitter. It is a great way to keep people informed about something they might find interesting. And, like any responsible Twitter user, I try to keep a healthy balance between linking to blog posts and giving actual status updates or participating in conversations. And, by healthy balance, I mean links are in minority while actual participation is in the majority.

Unfortunately, Twitter accounts that only post links are becoming more and more popular. Adam Ostrow at Mashable wonders the same thing and has set up a poll for whether or not it is time for Twitter to be more aggressive in fighting spam. I think it's time to tell Twitter what we think, so check out his article and vote in the poll.
