Mytopia Takes Casual Gaming Across Platforms

Tuesday March 25, 2008

If you ever thought the idea of a backgammon match across social networks was a dream come true, then Mytopia is delivering on your dreams. Mytopia is a casual gaming social network currently in beta that offers such classics as backgammon, chess, hearts, spades, and even video poker.

The great thing about Mytopia is that you don't have to go to their website to play their games. You can play them on Facebook or MySpace or even your own personalized start page like Netvibes. And because Mytopia is an open platform, it doesn't matter where your opponent is located.

In other words, the war of dominance between Facebook and MySpace is about to be taken to a whole new level much to our own entertainment. Let's just hope that a future version of Mytopia keeps up with a score card for the social networks so that we can see once and for all who holds the best sudoku players.

Thank goodness! Yet another way to kill time while stuck in an office cubicle!
