When New Zealand decided to take a look at a couple of laws that govern police actions and make updates, they took advice from an unconventional source: the people. A wiki was established to allow people to comment on the law allowing people to anonymously tell the police how to best do their job.
The experiment was so successful that the team running the consultation have fielded calls from the U.S., England, Germany and Japan.
Businesses have been getting on the wiki bandwagon for years. It is good to see governments getting on board too. You can read the full story at TV3.
